Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.

  • Check in is from 2 p.m. Check out is until 12 p.m
  • Rooms can only be used by guests who are duly registered at the reception with a valid identity document. All departures after 12 p.m. will be considered as late departure and additional cost per hour will be applied to Guest’s Property account. If departure is after 6 p.m. an extra night including breakfast, will be charged. Please check for details with Reception. If during your stay, for whatever reason, you need to check out earlier, it is necessary to inform Reception 24h prior departure. Otherwise full night stay with breakfast will be charged. In case of cancellation of further Guest stay by the Property caused by misbehavior and disrespect of Property Rules, Property reserves the right to charge for full length of stay as per reservation.

  • ROOM KEYS
  • Room keys are issued to the registered guest(s). No room keys will be issued to youth under 18 at any time. I.D. is required if you have lost your key and require a duplicate.
  • Guests are required to handover their keys to the receptionist upon departure.
  • If guests lose or do not return the key they are obligated to pay the penalty.

  • VISITOR
  • Visits are allowed until 8 p.m. and in case of extended visit (after 8 p.m.), Property will charge additional amount of IDR 250.000,- including VAT per person per night, as a supplement for the next guest. 
  •  
  • BREAKFAST
  • The unit rate is inclusive of breakfast for 2 persons (1BR/2BR), 3 persons (3BR) and 4 persons (4BR).
  • The additional breakfast is IDR 121,000 nett/pax/serving
  • Breakfast is prepared by Four Point Sheraton - Balikpapan

  • QUIET HOURS
  • 11.00 PM to 08.00 AM. If you become aware of disruptive guest, please contact reception staff immediately. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and close quietly. No congregating or running in halls.
  • Property keeps the right to refuse further hospitality to the Guest who disturbs other Guests or on other way disrespects Rules.
  • We assume that the Guests are familiarised and fully understand the Property Rules at the beginning of their stay in our Property.

  • GUEST BELONGINGS
  • Property bears no responsibility for any damage or loss of your personal belongings. In case of any loss, you are kindly requested to immediately inform Reception.

  • FREE WI-FI ACCESS
  • Wi-Fi internet is free and available in entire Property. Password is provided at the Reception
  • Wi-Fi signals are subject to change without notice depending on the internet provider, the status of our Wi-Fi-equipment, and interference from other local wireless signals. The Property assumes no liability for guest use.
  •  
  • "DO NOT DISTURB" & ACCESS TO UNITS
  • To provide all of our guests with an exceptionally clean and safe hotel experience, we provide daily housekeeping. Our Housekeeping Staff will honor the “Do Not Disturb” sign on door once during a ten-hour period indicating that the room is occupied.
  • “Do not Disturb” cannot be displayed longer than 24 hours. After this time, Property management reserves the right to enter the unit due to Safety and Security reasons such as an emergency, housekeeping, maintenance, verify that the room (its furnishings and mechanical equipment) is intact, or to address or prevent a violation of our Hotel Policy. In the event of suspected illegal activity, management reserves the right to summon law enforcement to aid in eviction. The right to privacy ends when a Hotel Policy is broken. Law enforcement will be granted immediate access to hotel property and rooms of evicted guests.

  • HAZARDOUS GOODS
  • Gambling, contraband, prostitution, weapons, explosives, flammable objects, poisons, drugs, and pungent food are strictly prohibited on Property premises. The Guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the management, its other guests or visitors for all loss financial or otherwise and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guests' own negligence and non-observance of any / instructions.

  • HOUSEKEEPING/ROOM INSPECTION
  • Housekeeping/Room Inspection
  • Housekeeping is provided daily between the hours of 9.00 AM – 2.00 PM.
  • The unit is entirely non-smoking (or vaping). Smoking or vaping is allowed in balconies, terraces/verandas, patios and designated outdoor smoking place. In case of non-compliance with this rule, Property is obliged to charge the penalty of IDR 1.000.000,-/unit to your account.

  • LINEN CHANGING
  • Your comfort is very important to us. For guests staying multiple nights, bed linen is changed every third day. Used towels are exchanged for fresh towels daily. If Housekeeping is unable to change a bed due to personal items left on a bed, a note will be left. Housekeeping will be happy to change your bed linens and make your beds each day if all personal items are removed. Please contact our Reception staff if you have any additional questions or concerns.

  • PARKING
  • For your convenience Property has arranged the parking in front of the Property. Property takes no responsibility for any damage or loss of your vehicle on the parking. 
  •  
  • DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY
  • The guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the hotel property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible. 
  •  
  • DAMAGE DISCOVERED AFTER CHECK OUT
  • Guest Rooms found with waste strewn around, in complete disorder, and/or “trashed” will be subject to maintenance deep cleaning fee, administration fee and/or third party fees.
  • DAMAGE TO ROOM: Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, art work, etc. will be charge at 100% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to hotel property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.
  • DAMAGE TO MATTRESSES AND BEDDING: Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.

  • PAYMENT
  • Property keeps the right to require a guarantee for extra expenses during reservation process or at the check in. Payment guarantee is required. In case of a long stay the services are to be paid on the weekly bases.
  • Payments are in local currency according to the official average rate of Central Bank of Indonesia on the arrival day. 
  •  
  • IN CASE OF EMERGENCY OF FIRE
  • In Case of Emergency or Fire
