You’ll know you’re in cowboy country when you step inside this mountain home with a true ski lodge ambiance. The great room is an inviting place to gather before the wood fire with friends and family and create long-lasting vacation traditions. A modern kitchen loaded with high-end appliances and amenities caters well for large groups and meals around the table always include a great view.
This Big Sky Moonlight Basin custom home offers luxurious outdoor living on a wrap-around deck with tables, chairs, comfy loungers, and impressive views of Montana peaks. A hot tub is set back secluded in the pines, a luxurious way to soak up the Big Sky views.
Mountain Home boasts ample square footage for the whole crew with 2,600 sq of living space. The bedrooms are well laid-out over three levels offering privacy for large groups. The main level master suite is luxurious and spacious with a gas fireplace, private sunrise balcony, and a soaking tub that literally puts you in the pines. There are two additional en-suite bedrooms on the lower level and a great upper-level loft area with foosball and bean bags for the kids and teens. A perfect home-away-from-home for your Property Manager.
Perched on the sunny slopes in Cowboy Heaven, Moonlight Mountain Homes have direct ski access to the Moonlight and Madison Base areas and are a lift ride away from endless Big Sky outdoor activities. This Moonlight Mountain gem is beautifully secluded yet only a ten-minute drive to Big Sky’s hub Mountain Village, and a 45-minute scenic drive to the geological wonders of West Yellowstone.
SKI ACCESS
Ski Access is king at the Moonlight Mountain Homes, with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Access lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort’s closing day depending on snow conditions. No access until lifts open and after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze.
Ski Out:
Exit through the garage and go to the right to the Natawista ski access trail that connects at the end of the road. Go left down the trail, the trail will “Y”. To go to the Moonlight Lodge, go straight on the Bootlegger trail then follow the signs to Moonlight Lodge to get to Iron Horse and Big Sky Resort. To go to the Madison base area, go left, which is Natawista, then veer to the left over the bridge to Drover Trail. Then take Cinnabar to Madison Base at Moonlight Basin.
Ski In:
From the top of Iron Horse lift or Six Shooter lift, follow signs to Cinnabar to Natawista and back to the house. From the top of Pony Express lift, cross the Powder River run, under the ski bridge to Natawista. The end of Mountain Home Road will be on your left. Ski down the road to your home.
