About the area
The 6th arrondissement is home to Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Jardin du Luxembourg. Although the mythical jazz clubs of the 50's are rare today, and you can find more tourists at the terrace of the Café de Flore than intellectuals, it has kept a pleasant atmosphere, between bourgeoisie-bohemian and Parisian luxury.
This is one of the most emblematic - and expensive - areas of Paris.
