We designed the entire home with the new normal in mind. The home has a lot of tree shade in the backyard over the pool, making it a great getaway even in the summer. Start your day with a morning coffee in peace & shade among the hummingbirds and butterflies on the patio. Stay productive with 500 Mbps high-speed mesh wifi throughout the house and backyard, and multiple laptop-friendly working areas. Need a break? Take an afternoon dip in the deep saltwater pool in the shade, a perfect respite even in the height of the hot desert summer. In the evening, fire up the grill and enjoy outdoor dining on the patio. Cap off the evening gathering around around the fire pit or a dip in the hot tub spa. Easy access to Highway 111 and I-10. Plenty of neighborhood walking & biking opportunities. Our home is so inviting, we currently rent it out for stays more than 30 days. If you are looking to stay for a few months, inquire about our longer term stay discount. We would love to host you and your family & friends. Please read all the house rules and cancellation policy before reserving. All guests staying overnight at the property at any time must be listed on the reservation. A few things to keep in mind: * Verification and contracts are submitted on a alternate page called SuiteOp after confirmation of reservation * No parties, large gatherings or extra guests allowed. All guests staying overnight must be listed on the reservation. * Adult guests requesting to book and staying at the home must be at least age 25 at the time of booking. Valid ID will be required upon booking. * La Quinta has a noise ordinance and quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. Noise levels must remain below 70 decibels at all times of day. Noise is actively monitored at the home using a noise sensor. * Nest thermostats are scheduled to cool to 78F during the day and 75F at night. * We have regular maintenance services coming to the house, including pool, pest, and gardening. Schedules are posted at the home. Schedule alteration requests by guests will not be accommodated. * Guests will be responsible for putting trash bins to the curb weekly during their stay, as well as ensuring bins are returned to side of the house for storage between collection days. Any citations for sanitation violations issued by the city of La Quinta will be charged to the guest. * There is an optional fee to heat the pool. The request to heat the pool should be done at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. Please note this service is an additional $99 added to your stay each night you use the pool heating service, a minimum of 2 nights is required. * Early Check-in / Late Check-out: We are happy to offer flexible arrival and departure times, when possible, for an additional fee of $25 per hour. Please request this service in advance. * Additionally, any requests made less than 24 hours may not result in optimal usage and are ineligible for refund. Pool heating must be consecutive days not broken up * We can sometimes accommodate one small dog (<10 lbs) it must be pre-approved and pre-paid. The fee is $75 non refundable for one small dog. We are unable to accommodate cats or multiple dogs. **Mail and Package Deliveries Guests are welcome to have mail or packages delivered to the property during their stay; however, deliveries are made at the guest’s own risk. The host/owner is not responsible for any lost, delayed, or undelivered mail or packages. Please note that the property’s mailing address is typically forwarded to an offsite location, which may cause delays or affect deliveries. Because of this, we highly recommend guests either hold their mail at the nearest post office or rent an Amazon Locker for a more secure and reliable option. While we will do our best to assist if an issue arises, our ability to help retrieve missing items is limited and cannot be guaranteed. **Cancellation Policy & Travel Insurance Recommendation We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure transparency and fairness, we have a clear cancellation policy in place: • 100% Refund – Guests may cancel their reservation within 48 hours of booking for a full refund. • 50% Refund – After the 48-hour period, guests will receive a 50% refund if canceling at least 30 days before check-in. • No Refund – Cancellations made within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable. Because life is unpredictable, we strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to protect their investment. Once a reservation is confirmed, we offer guests the option to purchase travel insurance, which can provide coverage in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Please note that we must adhere to our cancellation policy since the property is reserved exclusively for each guest, making it unavailable to others.
