Sleeping up to eight guests across four bedrooms, Jurassica is a modern holiday home located in Castletown on the Isle of Portland. The property is within walking distance to the cafes, art houses, pubs and shops, while you’ll also find the truly magnificent Chesil Beach – an 18-mile-long shingle beach of National Heritage importance nearby. The property is in a great location for water sports enthusiasts, walkers, cyclists, rock climbing, bird watching or just simply for relaxing. Jurassica has been completed to a high standard with oak flooring, porcelain tiles and quality modern furnishings throughout. The sizeable master bedroom and living room offer beautiful views over Chesil Beach, extending out across the English Channel, The Fleet and Weymouth Bay. The property also boasts a large open-plan kitchen diner where you can prepare meals and enjoy socialising with your guests. There are four bedrooms at Jurassica – two kings and two twin rooms so the property is perfect for stays with family and friends. Bright and neutral, you’ll be able to feel relaxed and chilled in these spaces. The main family bathroom is home to a bathtub with overhead shower, wash basin and WC. The second bathroom at Jurassica comes in the form of an ensuite shower room, attached to the master bedroom. Externally, the enclosed private garden – a super suntrap, is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring and is great for children. Property Manager are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay. Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Jurassica are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be provided prior to check in. Private on-site parking is available for up to four vehicles. The nearest train station to the Isle of Portland is located in Weymouth where there are regular routes to Bournemouth, Dorchester, London, Poole, Southampton, Wareham, Winchester and Woking. The Isle of Portland has great bus routes to surrounding areas including Weymouth and Wyke Regis. The nearest airport is Bournemouth Airport, 44 miles away from the Isle of Portland.
