In essence, Villa Pollensa Feelings stands as a central and sophisticated retreat situated in Pollensa, one of the island’s most captivating and traditional locales. It provides an ideal haven for an authentic vacation experience, with pristine beaches just a short 10-minute drive away. The villa’s prime location places it a mere 200 meters from the Plaza Mayor, home to the renowned Sunday market and an array of exceptional bars, restaurants, and shops, as well as the iconic Calvary staircase. While these are among Pollensa’s most celebrated attractions, we also encourage you to immerse yourself in the town’s unique ambiance, wander through its winding streets, and uncover its hidden gems, including small museums, art galleries, churches, restaurants, and shops.
It’s important to note that the narrow streets of the old town are not conducive to vehicular traffic. Fortunately, Villa Pollensa Feelings benefits from a yellow line in front of the property, facilitating loading and unloading tasks.
We recommend having your own vehicle for added mobility and the opportunity to explore other charming towns on the island. However, it’s not a prerequisite. If you choose not to rent a vehicle, you can still enjoy the seaside with convenient bus lines connecting to the beaches of Cala San Vicente and Puerto Pollensa, both mere 7 kilometers away. Alternatively, a taxi is a convenient option.
Additionally, please be aware that between the end of July and August 2, Pollensa hosts fervent patron saint festivities. August 2, known as "Patron Saint’s Day," is the pinnacle of these celebrations, offering a vibrant and picturesque expression of local culture that the entire town embraces with fervor.
Another notable event is the Holy Week Procession, particularly the "Davallament" ceremony, which occurs on Good Friday night. During this solemn procession, the image of the Reclining Christ descends from the Calvary oratory, perched atop a hill overlooking the town, to the parish below. This awe-inspiring procession unfolds in profound silence, as torches light the path along the historic 365 steps of Calvary, flanked by ancient cypress trees.
