From its height, up to the hill Agriturismo La Papessa dominates the ancient medieval village of San Donato in Poggio offering a wonderful sight on the Chianti hills.
The building is featured by the ancient and magnificent villa, core of the farm, which once belonged to Marchesi Torregiani.
Reception is at the Fattoria di Montecchio while the flats are at Agriturismo La Papessa, the two buildings are not far from each other. In the event of a late arrival, please pass by the Fattoria di Montecchio for information on how to reach the flats.
The park, vineyards and red earth of this hill are the main features and reflect the true colours of Tuscany landscape.
Agriturismo La Papessa consists of two stone-buildings with a wide park that is both at apartments and at all our clients disposal.
You can also find a nice wood-burning oven and a barbecue on the wide terrace from where you can enjoy a wonderful view and where you can relax sitting at our wooden tables, Against hot weather days you can get refrigeration in our swimming pool placed under nicely smelling olive trees.
The Ibisco apartment located inside the Agriturismo La Papessa in San Donato, is perfect for four people, has an independent entrance on the ground floor, consisting of a kitchen / living room with a double sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower.
Furnished and equipped, it is equipped with a safe, satellite TV, telephone, alarm system and air conditioning.
