Welcome to The Mountainbriar Lodge in beautiful Beech Mountain! This stunning 4-bedroom home is the perfect mountain retreat for your next getaway.
The main level of The Mountainbriar Lodge features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a spacious great room with vaulted ceilings, a gas log fireplace, and a large screen TV for cozy nights in. The luxurious primary bedroom is conveniently located on the main level with a king bed and an ensuite bathroom complete with a jetted tub, double vanity, and custom shower. Also on the main level is an additional queen bedroom with a full bathroom in the hallway.
On the upper level, you’ll find a queen bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom for added privacy. The lower level of the home includes a bunk room with two sets of twin over twin bunk beds, a full bathroom, an arcade table, another large screen TV, a pool table, and a card table for endless entertainment options.
Outside, enjoy the fresh mountain air on one of the two decks. You’ll love to take a soak in the hot tub, grill up a delicious meal on the propane grill, gather around the gas fire table on the deck, or take a short walk down the stepts to cozy up around the fire pit for s’mores and stargazing.

Beech Mountain offers a variety of outstancing activities year round, consider some of these events for your stay at The Mountainbriar Lodge:
-Land of OZ’s Journey with Dorothy
-The long running Woolly Worm Festival in October
-Concerts every Sat. in the summer on the decks at 5506’ Skybar as well as Mile High Yoga
-June is Family Fun month with different events each weekend.
-At nearby Grandfather Mountain you’ll find the famous mile high swinging bridge & in the summer Grandfather Mountain Highland Games.
-Wineries are always fun, and two close options would be the Banner Elk Winery or Grandfather Mountain Winery. (Both being family friendly)
-Beech Mountain Resort hosts mountain bike trails, lessons, disk golf & summer concerts in the summer. In the winter you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, the Beech Mountain Brewery, coffee shops, great restaurants, tubing, sledding as well as the Burton learn to ride center.
Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- The Mountainbriar Lodge is pet friendly, allowing 1 mature, well-behaved dog per visit with a pet rent of $25 per pet per night
- The town of Beech Mountain requires AWD/4WD and sometimes chains in times of incliment weather. Please plan for this possibility from November through March.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a Firestarter for $25 plus tax per night.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This property has 2 cameras. Camera #1 is at the front of the home looking at the driveway. Camera#2 is on the side of the home with lower driveway pointed toward a small section of the fire pit and looks up the lower driveway.
