In the triangle created between Firenze, Siena and Arezzo, perfectly situated in the middle, you can find La Tuscia at the entrance to Località Starda and Castello di Starda, a small hamlet in the Chianti Classico area of Tuscany. She is situated on a mountain-pass allowing beautiful and wide views over the surrounding valleys with forests, olive groves and organised vineyards, whilst allowing a refreshing breeze at most times. In the direct vicinity of the house is the Castello Di Starda, an old Borgo with a rich history, good for some interesting time exploring. The forest which starts directly from our house, is home to many wildlife species who are more daring to show themselves at nightfall. The forest is inviting you for a nice walk, or a more extensive hike into the woods and has many interesting paths to follow with different distances and difficulty grading. Mountain biking, cycling and motor tours are popular but not for the fainthearted. In the nearby villages , some can be reached by foot, you can find interesting Osteria's offering honest traditional cuisine and beautiful picturesque centers. Each village/city throughout the year showcase their own local festivities and folklore and most allow you to feel and be a part of their celebration. Antique markets are inviting and many small/bigger music festivals and set-ups share the Italian melodies so well known. In every corner of Chianti you will be able to enjoy the wine culture, either admiring the aligned and clean vineyards or the excellent wines to taste and discuss in depth, loosing yourself in this passionate country.
