Welcome to One Ocean Ohana!
This spacious home is set in the One Ocean private luxury community. It features a private back yard overlooking the ocean, Kohala Mountain, Mauna Lani South golf course and Maui in the distance. The home features a private pool and spa but also is only a 4 to 5 minute walk to the ocean front "Grotto". The grotto is a quiet ocean front pool where you quite possibly may end up with it to yourself on many days. In the winter Humpback whales pass by regularly. There is a second community center called the wellness center with a fitness center and another pool.
Set in Mauna Lani resort, guests of One Ocean Ohana have use of the Mauna Lani owners private beach club at no extra cost.
The spacious home includes a large living room and kitchen with towering ceilings and large motorized pocket doors out to a covered lanai with living room and kitchen. The living room features a new and very large 85" Samsung smart TV. The kitchen features Wolf gas range and Subzero fridge. The large island features a second sink and plenty of counter space for the family chef. The lanai features a high end Wolf grill.
The home features high speed Internet throughout.
There is a large primary suite on the ground floor with no need to navigate stairs. The primary suite features a King bed, private primary bath and sliders to a lanai and views of the golf course and ocean in the distance.
There is a second large master bedroom upstairs with King bed, master bath and a bonus room off it with a Queen bed. The bedroom features a large elevated lanai (balcony) with views of the ocean, golf course and Kohala mountain. This is glorious place to enjoy the sunsets.
In a completely separate building there is an "Ohana suite" that includes a bedroom and bath. A brand new King bed has been added.
Mauna Lani is also close to some of the best golf courses on the Big Island and some of the best beaches in the USA including Hapuna Beach (voted #1 beach in the USA in 2021) and Mauna Kea Beach. The Mauna Lani tennis and fitness center includes tennis and pickleball courts that can be reserved and there are two hotels with nice restaurants in Mauna Lani. The Shops at Mauna Lani are nearby with a grocery store but there are also farmers markets and a fresh fish market.
Venturing beyond the Mauna Lani resort, the Big Island is full of adventures and wonderful discoveries. Take a day trip to Volcano National Park, explore ancient lava tubes, visit wonderful galleries and small historic towns - Waimea, Hawi to name a few.
