Whether you’re planning a family reunion, a group getaway, or just looking for a peaceful escape with friends, Velvet Monkey has everything you need to make unforgettable memories. *Important note - Douglas Lake is drawn down from September to March and water levels are much lower than normal. Luckily we’ve got plenty of other amenities to keep you busy.

Things To Know
Payment & Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.

- - You are not to have more than the max number of guests allowed at the property.
- - Renter minimum age is 25
- - No Events
- - No Pets unless expressly granted and fee paid
