Payment & Cancellation - 60 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.

House rules

  • AIR CONDITIONING: Please do not lower the set temperature below 70 degrees, keep all windows and doors shut when the AC is on, and please turn the AC off when you are not in the unit to conserve energy.
  • SANDY ITEMS IN HOME: Please clean your beach gear prior to entering the home. This will help keep your shower from draining slowly and floors less sandy during your stay.
  • SHOWER USE: Please do not rinse out beach equipment and suits in the home showers. This is causing large and expensive plumbing issues for our owners. Use the beach showers and resort hoses to clean your items and swim-suits outside of the home.
  • LINENS:
  • Each owner has personally purchased these high quality linens (sheets, towels, pillows etc) for your use. These are not the hotel or front desk operation linens.
  • -If your unit has a pullout sleeper sofa and you need the pullout sleeper sofa made for your arrival, please let us know in advance so we can provide the necessary sheets.
  • -If you're staying for a longer time period and you'd like to schedule a linen change out or midst clean, we can schedule this (at least a week in advance) with the cleaning team for an additional fee. Please email us at Stice@GatherVacations.com if you'd like to see the pricing options for this.
  • -Please do not put any sheets down the linen chute as they will be lost and guests will be charged for missing inventory.
  • -Please do not give sheets or towels to any hotel staff as they will not know if a specific unit is outside of their operation.
  • -Please let us know immediately if you may have accidentally stained any items and we will do our best to get there ASAP and treat the stain.
  • -Any stains we are unable to remove, guests will be charged for as they were presented to you in clean condition. We are unable to provide stained (even though cleaned) sheets to future guests as they will not be satisfied with this.
  • -Any requests to change linens for fresh ones need to be made 72 hours in advance if they are free of stains. Additional fees will apply.
  • ADDITIONAL HOUSE RULES:
  • -Please take your shoes off when entering the home to keep dirt and sand from spreading and staining carpets
  • -Please do not spray your sunscreen in the unit or on the lanai (they can stain the floor and furniture and there will be an excessive cleaning charge)
  • -Please do not sit on the furniture with wet clothing or towels (they will stain the furniture and there will be an excessive cleaning charge)
  • -Please open all the Nana sliding door and lanai screens slowly -- we inspect these before check in to ensure all are in working condition and a charge will be collected if we have to fix them
  • -Please return all cleaned beach gear to the beach closet
  • -Please close & lock all lanai doors & windows, turn off all lights and turn the AC temp up when not in the unit
  • -Please notify us immediately if you accidentally stained the new bed sheets we will provide a replacement and will do our best to remove the stains but an excessive cleaning charge may apply
  • -Please do not touch the internet router and contact us if you have any issues
  • -Please do not exchange our linens and beach towels for resort ones. Our owners have individually purchased these items for their Maui Home. Do not put them down the resort linen chutes either.
  • -Please remember to not pack the stackable washer and dryer with too much clothing as it can damage the machine and use excess energy to just spin and not get the clothing dry.
  • -Do not leave children unattended on the lanai at any time
  • -Do not climb on the railing or chairs on the lanai at any time
