In a splendid 19th-century palace, overlooking the Rio de la Panada, just steps away from Campo San Giovanni e Paolo, this majestic noble floor will captivate you with the charm of its past and the mix of art and design that the owners have desired.
From the ancient courtyard of the palace, one can directly access the apartment located on the first floor via an elegant exclusive staircase.
It is composed of an enormous double-height hall with a large open-plan kitchen on the canal side, with a dining area in the center and a living area on the opposite side. On the sides of the hall, there are two large master bedrooms with bathrooms, while two other master bedrooms are located on the ground floor and on the mezzanine. In total, there are 3 complete bathrooms with shower in the apartment and a service bathroom at the entrance. Additionally, in the mezzanine of the master bedroom, there is a gym, and immediately to the left of the entrance, there is a wardrobe that has been entirely painted with graffiti by a local street artist.
The apartment is enriched by important furnishing elements such as a prestigious De Sede sofa, Mid Century armchairs by Adrien Pearsall, lamps by Sebastian Summa, and splendid artworks like "Dark Mirror" and "Reconstructions" by Roman Polanszky, the "DDR Tuten" series by Joseph Beuys, "Schuttbild" by Hermann Kitsch, and a beautiful sculpture by Patrick Rampelotto.
To provide you with all the comfort you need during a vacation, the apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi access, air conditioning, Smart TV, and a hairdryer in each bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to potentially organize your breakfasts, lunches, or dinners at home. We can also provide an in-house catering service upon reservation.
The apartment is easily accessible by water taxi, which we can book upon request, and is located 5 minutes walking from the Fondamente Nove vaporetto stop, from which you can conveniently reach every destination, including the islands of Murano, Burano, the Lido and Marco Polo Airport. St. Mark’s Square can be reached in 12 minutes on foot and the Rialto Bridge in 7 minutes.
Check-in is possible from 3 PM to 7 PM. Later check-ins are possible by prior agreement and with a small extra payment. About the area
Venice, Italy, is a city that enchants its visitors with its distinctive blend of history, artistry, and romance. The city is uniquely constructed on over 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Instead of roads and cars, Venice is characterized by its waterways and gondolas, offering a truly unique urban experience.
St. Mark's Square stands as one of the city's most iconic landmarks. It is home to St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace. The basilica boasts stunning Byzantine mosaics while the palace showcases Gothic architecture and grand rooms adorned with art - both are symbols of Venice's rich historical heritage.
The Grand Canal is another must-visit attraction in Venice. A gondola ride along this major waterway provides breathtaking views of beautiful palaces and historic buildings lining its banks. For those passionate about art, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection offers an impressive collection of modern art from renowned artists like Picasso and Pollock.
Venice takes pride in its glassmaking industry located on the island of Murano where visitors can witness artisans crafting intricate glass pieces using age-old techniques.
The city also hosts several globally recognized events such as the Venice Biennale art exhibition and the Venice Film Festival which draw artists and celebrities worldwide.
For gastronomes, Venetian cuisine offers fresh seafood from the lagoon and traditional dishes like risotto nero (black risotto) made with cuttlefish ink.
In summary, Venice presents an irresistible mix of history, culture, artistic talent, gastronomy, and romance that makes it an ideal destination for any traveler.
