Upon entering our two-story home through the private front door, you’ll step into the dining area, which features the dining table + desk. Through the dining area you’ll find the spacious kitchen, along with the laundry area + full bathroom. Going upstairs, you’ll enter the living room at the top of the stairs. From here, straight ahead is the large bedroom with a king bed. There is a loft area up the ladder that is unused & for storage only. Note that the entire property has an open, spacious feeling, with the only door being on the bathroom. The entire property is accessible to our guests. Note that the back door / courtyard area is deadbolted, and is only accessible as an emergency exit. Originally called Buena Vista, the streets in the area were named after various Mexican War people & places, and most of the homes in the area are from the 1800s! Mattress Factory Museum, Randyland, great coffee shops, restaurants, and a handful of bars call the War Streets home. Plus, you’re an easy walk to North Shore attractions like PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium (let’s be real, it’ll always be Heinz Field), and all of the bars & restaurants of the North Shore. A super safe & family friendly area, it feels more like a NYC or Boston neighborhood than Pittsburgh - it’s one of the most desirable areas of Pittsburgh to live. We recommend using Uber or Lyft to navigate in Pittsburgh. It’s a notoriously difficult city to drive in (but we have little traffic!) They’re affordable and abundant. If you do choose to drive in the city, we offer free street parking with our included digital parking permit.
