Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.

House rules

  • - AGE RESTRICTIONS: The registering guest must be at least 25 years of age and will be held responsible for all parties and/or guests of this reservation. The individual making this reservation must be 25 years old, must be present at check-in, and must remain for the entire length of the reservation. Thank you for understanding.
  • - Smoking and/or vaping is not allowed inside or outside on the balcony. If we find evidence of smoking/vaping you will be charged $500.
  • Kara Lakes HOA rules:
  • 1. Parking in the street or on the grass is not permitted. Occupants are only allowed the
  • number of vehicles that will fit in the garage and/or on the driveway without extending
  • into sidewalk or onto the main road. No trailers, RV’s, boats, jet skis, or commercial/
  • business vehicles are permitted to park overnight in the Community. Non-operational or
  • non-functional vehicles may not be stored or permitted to remain on any lot except in a
  • garage on that lot. Violators could be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
  • 2. All Trash MUST BE PLACED INSIDE the dumpster. Do not place trash alongside the
  • dumpster or outside of the fencing. Do not overfill the dumpster – LIDS MUST BE
  • CLOSED. All large containers/boxes MUST BE broken down prior to placing INSIDE the
  • dumpster. Electronics, Furniture, Appliances are PROHIBITED from being placed in OR
  • around the dumpster.
  • 3. Lake: Absolutely no swimming, kayaking, jet skiing, sailing, etc. of any kind is permitted
  • on the Lake. Fishing Is permitted on a catch and release basis only. Only residents and
  • guests of the Community are allowed to fish on the Lake.
  • 4. Open Fires and Barbeque Grills – Open fires are PROHIBITED. Florida Fire Prevention
  • code prohibits any hibachi, grill, or similar device to be used on any balcony, under any
  • overhanging portion, or within 10 feet of any structure. No hibachi, grill, or other similar
  • device shall be stored on any balcony.
  • 5. Firearms and Fireworks The use and discharge of firearms within the Community is
  • prohibited. The term “firearms” includes “B-B” guns, pellet guns, and other firearms of
  • all types, regardless of size. The use and discharge of fireworks is prohibited on each
  • owner unit and Community property and by the State of Florida.
  • 6. Pool Hours are from SUNRISE TO SUNSET. Children 16 and younger are not allowed in
  • the pool area without an adult. There is NO lifeguard on duty at any time. You must read
  • and follow all posted pool rules. Parking at the Pool is short term only. NO GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY KIND. Guests must clean up all trash. Please don’t swim alone.
  • 7. Quiet Hours No person or persons should make, cause, or permit within their control
  • the making or causing of any noise disturbance that could be plainly audible from within
  • an occupied residence between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M.
