Stepping into the villa, guests are greeted by an expansive open-plan living and dining room replete with plush sofas, leather armchairs, a stone fireplace, high vaulted ceilings and panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that invite in floods of natural light. In addition to two championship courses, golfers have access to a driving range and extensive short game practice area, not to mention the spa and wellness centre.   The Michelin-starred restaurant Els Tinars (15-minute drive) is a shame to miss when you’re in Costa Brava. Occupying a restored farmhouse with an opulent garden terrace, the restaurant is famed for its extensive and modern yet traditional Catalan cuisine. Make sure to try the Palamos prawns! The beautiful beaches of Costa Brava (a a 20-minute drive) include Cala Treumal and Cala Sant Margarita. Nestled in between rocky outcrops, these golden sand beaches are a treat to explore. Larger beaches at nearby Blanes and Lloret de Mar are also equally accessible and feature a range of water sports options and coastal resort amenities. Massis de Cadiretes (24-minute drive) is a preserved nature reserve and one of the best kept examples of Costa Brava’s original landscape. There’s great hiking to be had, including treks to scenic castles and megalithic sites. The area is also brimming with other opportunities to get active, including angling and water sports.
