Wild Rose Cottage is located at the Barrengarry end of Kangaroo Valley. Set on 35 acres with views of the spectacular escarpment, this picturesque property is close to the valley’s best wedding venues and only 5 minutes drive to the village. Wild Rose Cottage has a chain of ponds on the property attracts the beautiful, local wildlife.

Where will I be?
Wild Rose Cottage is located at the Barrengarry end of Kangaroo Valley. It is just a 5 minutes drive to the village (over the Hampden Bridge) to the local shops, restaurants and pub. Many Southern Highlands wedding venues and towns are a short drive away.
Why choose Wild Rose Cottage?
Wild Rose Cottage is comfortable and perfectly sized for a group of four. The amazing views immediately put you at ease. You will have everything you need if you choose to stay at the cottage, but it is only a short drive to the village if you would like to venture out!
How is the property laid out?
Wild Rose Cottage is a renovated cottage all on one level. There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven and coffee machine. The master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite with a shower and toilet. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and the main bathroom has a toilet and shower over a bath.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix, or Pay TV - will I have it?
Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.
Please note that neither Property Manager nor the owner can guarantee 100% that WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If WiFi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
Elevated with fantastic escarpment views, Wild Rose Cottage is set on 35 acres. There are some grassed areas close to the house, and a series of ponds (unfenced) on the property that attract the local wildlife. The living/dining area opens onto a large, covered deck with a BBQ and outdoor seating. The perfect place to BBQ with a view!
Staying warm or keeping cool?
There is reverse cycle air conditioning in the lounge for year round comfort. Ceiling fans can be found in the bedrooms, living and dining area.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Wild Rose Cottage supplies all bed linen, sheets and bath towels.
Parking for cars, etc?
Wild Rose Cottage has open air parking for 2 cars.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Please note that due to the nature and location of this property, wildlife may be about including possums, kangaroos, ants, spiders, bees, wasps and even snakes. We do whatever we can to keep the property safe, however we cannot guarantee that you will not see any wildlife at the property. You must book the property knowing that the possibility of encountering wildlife exists, and you must take care during your visit if walking around the property - please.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
