Nestled among tall pines like a cozy mountain treehouse, this atmospheric home gives you unbeatable access to the beauty of Bass Lake. Spend summer mornings hiking, swimming, fishing, or mountain biking. Sunny afternoons are for lounging on the two decks overlooking the garden and treetops. This home has a fireplace/woodstove and central heating to keep you warm during the winter and holidays.
This two-story home sits near the northeast corner of Bass Lake, less than a half-mile stroll from The Falls Picnic Site. There’s so much to do in the immediate area, from hiking the Willow Creek Trail, half a mile away, to spending a day at Bass Lake Recreation Area, two miles away. Go fishing for bass, trout, Kokanee salmon, catfish, crappie, and bluegill, or head up to Yosemite National Park and the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, 18 miles away, for a spectacular outing in nature.
No matter the activities you choose to fill your days, you’ll delight in returning to this lodge-like home. Step inside to be greeted by warm wood accents, a stone fireplace rising from floor to ceiling, and unique decor that includes Native American artifacts and historical photos of Bass Lake. Stream movies and play board games in the great room, get started on dinner in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, slide open the deck doors to barbecue, and dine at sunset in the fragrant mountain breeze.
Spend your evenings playing Ping-Pong in the garage before retiring to the bedrooms, each with a smart TV. The primary bedroom has a private deck. You’ll have two rollaway single beds and sleeper ottoman for extra sleeping space.
