Step back into the old West in our cozy cabin, just a few minutes walk to the River Run Ski lift and downtown Ketchum. This pet-friendly, log cabin features high, log-beamed ceilings, and a tall, river rock, wood-burning gas fireplace. (Firewood is not provided.)
Lounge in the artsy living room with the fireplace and open-concept kitchen, or tuck back into the southwest family room with a large L-shaped couch and big screen (streaming-only) TV. Gaze out the large windows, and you may see a deer or the fat rabbit that lives under the deck.
Upstairs is a spacious primary bedroom suite with high windows for stargazing or snowfall watching, a big screen (streaming-only) TV, and an oversized leather recliner. The ensuite has two sinks, a tub and shower combo sitting next to a large walk-in closet, and a convenient stacked washer and dryer. Downstairs is a smaller office/bedroom with a twin daybed, along with a large desk and closet. Across the hall is a bathroom with a sink and a standing shower.
One of the best things about this cabin is its location, a few minutes’ walk to the Bald Mountain, River Run Ski lift, and the beautiful Big Wood River. Seconds to the twenty-five-mile paved bike, cross-country ski, and walking path. (Dogs can be off-leash here) and a ten-minute stroll to the friendly downtown Ketchum for eclectic dining, bars, shopping, and great people-watching.
Rent our Cabin for a step back in time to simple, quieter days with the great outdoors and modern amenities at your fingertips.
One dog is welcome, with an additional pet fee of $100.

About the area
Ketchum, Idaho, is a gem nestled in the Wood River Valley, offering a perfect blend of outdoor adventure, arts, and culture, making it an ideal destination for travelers seeking both excitement and relaxation. Known primarily as a gateway to the renowned Sun Valley ski resort, Ketchum is a year-round haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
In the winter, the area becomes a snowy wonderland, with Bald Mountain providing world-class skiing and snowboarding opportunities. The mountain's consistent pitch, lack of lift lines, and diverse terrain make it a favorite among both beginners and seasoned professionals. Cross-country skiers and snowshoers can explore the extensive trail networks of the Sun Valley Nordic & Snowshoe Center.
As the snow melts, Ketchum reveals its lush summer landscape, perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and fly fishing. Trails like the Adam's Gulch Loop and the Pioneer Cabin Trail offer breathtaking views and the chance to spot local wildlife. The surrounding rivers, teeming with trout, are a fly fisherman's dream, while the Sawtooth National Recreation Area provides endless opportunities for exploration.
Ketchum's cultural scene is vibrant and surprisingly robust for a town of its size. The Sun Valley Center for the Arts hosts a variety of events, including concerts, lectures, and exhibitions. The town's commitment to the arts is also evident in its numerous galleries and the annual Sun Valley Film Festival, which attracts filmmakers and enthusiasts from around the world.
The town's dining scene is equally impressive, with a range of options from cozy cafes to upscale restaurants, many of which focus on locally sourced ingredients. The region's rich agricultural heritage is celebrated at the Ketchum Farmers Market, where visitors can sample and purchase local produce, artisanal foods, and crafts.
Ketchum's history is deeply intertwined with the "American Shangri-La" mystique of Sun Valley, which has attracted celebrities and socialites since the 1930s. The area's storied past can be explored through its historical sites and museums, such as the Ernest Hemingway Memorial and the Sun Valley Museum of History.
For those seeking a more relaxed experience, the town's laid-back atmosphere is perfect for strolling through its picturesque streets, shopping in its boutiques, or simply enjoying a coffee while taking in the stunning mountain views.
In essence, Ketchum is a destination that offers an idyllic mix of natural beauty, outdoor adventure, and cultural richness, making it a place where every traveler can find something to love.
