Accommodating up to 12 guests, we’re a great destination for families & friends to experience Destin! “The house was beautiful and in a great area. Easy walk to the beach and within easy driving distance to all the shopping and restaurants!” – Tim, ‘23 Tangerine Cove is located in the Crystal Beach Cottages neighborhood, known for its quiet and charming feel amongst the hustle and bustle of Destin’s popularity. It is located just one block from a public beach access, an easy seven-minute walk! We’re also a few minutes away from local restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, entertainment, and most importantly, our sugar sand beaches and emerald green water! We also have a large community pool, available exclusively to the few homes in our little cove, that guests can enjoy year-round. NOTE: Pool is heated only during Winter holidays and Spring breaks at discretion of HOA, and is not guaranteed. Enter directly from the classic front porch into the living room, complete with cozy beach décor and comfy seating around a natural gas fireplace. Here you can kick back at the end of your beach day and enjoy our Smart TV and complimentary YouTube LiveTV. “...the surround sound in the living room made watching TV so freaking amazing!” – Meagan, ‘22 The living room is an open concept space, shared with the kitchen and dining areas for plenty of space to enjoy being together. Our kitchen features a full breakfast bar with pull-up stools, a designated coffee station and dining area with seating for 6. The kitchen is fully stocked and there’s extra pantry space as well to store your groceries for your trip, a rare commodity in many rentals! A full laundry room is located directly off the living area for guest use, with easy access to the driveway in case you’re coming back from the beach or the store! “Such a beautiful place, nice sidewalks to the beach, quiet, beautiful neighborhood, lovely front porch for relaxing, great kitchen for cooking!” - Elizabeth, ‘23 One of our favorite things about Tangerine Cove is the indoor/outdoor feel that comes from being able to enjoy the front and side porches off the living room, or the enclosed back porch off the dining room. “The design of the home gives everyone their own little porch to relax. 5 Stars!!” – C.J., 23 Guests can savor the outdoor spaces with their great blend of natural light & shaded seating areas all around the house. The gracious front porch is the perfect place to chat while sipping a lemonade or ice tea. The side porch has a grill with a swing chair to supervise from! And we’ve added a small putting green as well for an extra touch of fun! The back porch is a tranquil screened-in seating area where you can plan your backyard corn-hole tournament. Those with kids or pets will really appreciate the fully fenced-in yard for playing outdoors. Off the bedrooms upstairs is a spacious deck, perfect for yoga and morning coffee or catching up on emails after a day at the beach. “Sweet property! Guests can climb up a large ladder-style stairway to find our Crow’s Nest nook and step out to our "lookout point" at the very top of Tangerine Cove. Rise early to catch a sunrise or enjoy a clear night with a glass of wine, looking out over Destin to watch the sunset. NOTE: We do, however, caution to use this area at your own risk (especially with children) as it can be a steep climb up and not for those with mobility issues. “Stellar! And, did I mention the widow’s walk on the roof?!” – Donna, ‘23 BEDROOMS AND BATHS: But where will everyone sleep? “Great variety of sleeping arrangements for lots of people and in comfortable beds!” – Liz, ‘22 The first bedroom is the main floor bunk room, with a twin over full bunk, a Smart TV with YouTube LiveTV, a Playstation 3 with a variety of games for kids, and a window seat for curling up with a book. There’s a door that enters directly onto the back screened patio (with a safety chain to prevent escaping little ones). The second bedroom downstairs is a King bedroom that also includes a SmartTV with YouTube LiveTV, plenty of closet space, and a private entrance onto the back screened patio. The main floor Full bathroom, with a tub/shower combo, is situated right off the living/dining area. Up one flight of stairs is the second floor bedroom suite. This spacious room boasts a King bed, a twin bunk bed, Smart TV with YouTube LiveTV, a walk-in closet, and a private balcony with seating to enjoy a serene cup of coffee in the morning! This room also has a "bonus room" attached to it with a triple stacked twin bunk bed, and a small workspace/luggage storage area. Our luxurious Master bathroom includes his and her sinks, a large, jetted tub, and a separate and spacious walk-in shower. “Loved this home! Loved the outdoor areas where we could gather in the evening and spend time together.” – Cathy, ‘23 For the tiny travelers in your group we supply a pack & play, high chair, plastic dishes/cups/silverware, & baby gates for the stairs. These items are always at the home, so there’s no need to request them in advance. AROUND TOWN: You will be a super close driving distance to anything you desire to do during your stay. We typically recommend taking an Uber or Lyft - they are very popular in the area and always less expensive that a normal taxi. NOTE: Grocery delivery is also available in our area from local grocery stores such as Whole Foods, Publix, WinnDixie, Walmart, and Target via InstaCart or Shipt. We have traveled to Destin for many years and feel like this Crystal Beach neighborhood is second to none in places to stay in the Destin area.” – Kelly, ‘22 Check in time is 4PM CST and Check out time is 10AM CST. Early check in and late checkout is not always possible, but we are able to accommodate on occasion. (All guests must vacate premises at checkout time (10am) or an additional night’s rate & cleaning fee apply.) We do not allow leaving luggage after checkout for liability reasons. Please keep in mind before & after your stay is the only time we are able to perform maintenance & cleaning of the home and most stays are back to back with other reservations. • We are pet friendly for up to 2 dogs per booking, but we do charge a $200 pet fee to be able to host others that may have allergies we have a deeper clean done, no exceptions. Only house trained pets are permitted, and if planning to leave them unattended they must be crated to avoid damage. It is a requirement to clean up after your pet, both inside and out, or additional fees will be assessed. ESA (Emotional Support Animals) are subject to the pet fee, as they do not fall under ADA compliant service animal requirements. It is a crime in our state to impersonate a service animal, so we appreciate your honesty in this matter. • Our cleaners supply a courtesy supply of toiletries for roughly the first day or so of your stay (toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, laundry soap, dish detergent) but guests are responsible for any additional supplies needed. We do not stock spices, oils, sunscreen, food storage (ziplocs, foil etc) so please plan accordingly if you’ll need these items. • We do provide beach towels for guests to use poolside or at the beach, so we ask guests to please not use any white towels in these spaces. Any other beach/pool items are not provided or guaranteed. • Only guests permitted are those stated in reservation-this includes any guests "stopping by" or visiting. Your booking must reflect the correct amount of guests & guest count must be updated in your reservation if additional guests are added. • We are always available for our guests anytime before and during your trip. It is highly encouraged to read our listing in detail for any questions about the space, location, and amenities. We ask, please, for NO text message communication as you will not receive a response. Our strong preference is communication directly through your booking platform so that we have all the details of your trip to make assisting you a breeze. If you’re a first time traveler, please download the app of the platform you’ve booked your trip on for ease of access to your trip details & communication. Please read our House Rules in detail before booking your trip, so you’re aware of any important FAQ that we’ve addressed for our guests ahead of time. We can be reached most times of the day, but ask for no late night contact-we will do our absolute best to take care of any needs and questions as soon as they arise! • We do NOT host groups under 25 years of age. • No underage drinking or illegal activity. • If police or local authorities are called and eviction is the necessary result, the nightly rate will be applied depending on the issue. Any law enforcement calls may result in loss of entire security deposit, at owner’s discretion. • Community pool is used by registered guests only, during posted hours at pool. No pets permitted in the pool. • No trash or debris should be left around home or outdoors at any time. Please treat our home as your own. PARKING: There is parking to accommodate up to 3 vehicles. Street parking/blocking sidewalk/rightofway may result in citation from the City of Destin to be paid by guest in violation. Unfortunately, we do not permit RV, trailer, or watercraft parking at our home at any time, due to HOA restrictions.
