Accommodating up to 8, it’s perfect for two small families, a couples trip, or a friends getaway! We can’t wait to welcome you to Sunsail Cottage! Our home is located in the heart of Destin, within 3 short blocks to the most beautiful sugar sand beaches. We’re located at the entrance of the cozy Sunsail neighborhood, with easy access to Highway 98 to come and go to local restaurants, shopping, and activities. We can accommodate up to two vehicles, plus golf cart parking. Unfortunately we do not permit RV, trailer, or watercraft parking at our home.

You will be super close driving distance to anything you have planned or desire to do during your stay. We typically recommend taking an Uber or Lyft as they are very popular in the area and always less expensive that a normal taxi. You can definitely take a short walk to the beach, and it is almost always easier than driving around looking for parking! Grocery delivery is also available in our area from local grocery stores such as Whole Foods, Publix, WinnDixie, Walmart, and Target via InstaCart or Shipt. Sams Club is located approximately 20 minutes west, in Fort Walton Beach.

Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House rules
- SuitableForChildren,SuitableForInfants,PetsAllowed:petStayCharge,-Check in time is 4PM CST and Check out time is 10AM CST. Early check in and late checkout is not always possible, but we are able to accommodate on occasion. We do not allow luggage dropoff/leaving luggage after checkout for liability reasons. Please keep in mind before & after your stay is the only time we are able to perform maintenance & cleaning of the home and most stays are back to back with other reservations.
- -There is only parking to accommodate up to 2 vehicles, plus a six passenger golf cart. Street parking/blocking sidewalk/rightofway may result in citation from the City of Destin to be paid by guest in violation.
- -Please inquire for rates for the golf cart or pool heating, unless advertised or discussed as part of your total price.
- -All guests must vacate premises at checkout time (9am) or an additional nights rate & cleaning fee apply.
- -We do NOT host groups under 25 years of age, unless prior approval is obtained. A $100 cash deposit & student rules agreed upon is required, if prior approval is granted.
- -We are pet friendly & allow up to 2 pets only if house trained, not permitted on the furniture, and crated if left unattended. Guests bringing pets must disclose this prior to booking, as a one time $200 fee must be paid prior to arrival. Pets and emotional support animals are subject to pet fee, only ADA recognized service animals are exempt from this. You are expected to clean up after your pet both indoors and outdoors or additional fees will be assessed.
- -Private pool is used by registered guests only. No pets permitted in the pool.
- -No trash or debris should be left around home or outdoors at any time. Please treat our home as your own.
- -Trash must be taken out on the specified days (Monday and Thursday evenings for Tuesday & Friday pickup). Excess trash pickup if trash day is missed may result in additional fees. Do not take trash out on non-trash days or fees may occur from City of Destin.
- -We strongly recommend purchasing additional rental/travel insurance for your peace of mind if something were to alter your trip.
- -Renter must promptly disclose any known or suspected issues with the home, and allow reasonable access within the same day to the home for resolution of issues. Any issues found after checkout that were not disclosed, tenants may be held accountable & could potentially be a charge of security deposit.
- -No noise past 10pm local ordinance.
- -Any cleanup of bodily fluids of any kind in any location on the property (both indoors/outdoors) will result in loss of security deposit/additional cleaning & sanitation charges.
- -Parties and events are not permitted.
