Chester Cottage is an original kiwi bach, older in style and original in decor, however the location is the key here, as it is situated in an extremely sought after waterfront position. No frills, but cost effective accommodation for its position in Oakura. The perfect escape from the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life. Offering direct beach access (slightly over growth for privacy from public beach) is rare and situated amongst multi million dollar homes.

Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House rules
- Please be mindful of neighbours and adhere to quiet times of 10pm to 7am. Strictly no parties or gatherings. We reserve the right not to accept bookings that we deem are in breach of house rules.
