**The City of Isle of Palms recently announced that they will be conducting a beach renourishment project designed to restore and protect the island’s shoreline. The work is planned for July - November 2026, specifically this area August to September. During your summer vacation, you may see construction equipment, pipelines, or temporary work zones on portions of the beach. Work areas will move throughout the project, and beach access may be adjusted in localized sections while construction is underway.**

-Occasionally, the beach access can be limited between #13 & #14 Beachwood (primary path) due to high tides in the area. There are additional beach access paths you may use at either end of Beachwood East, paths that connect to either cul-de-sac or pathways/trails if you’d need to use those instead.
-We do not provide beach gear or bikes. Check out our trusted Guest Perks and Local Partners for rentals, delivery, and experiences to make your stay even more enjoyable.
-Other activities on the Isle of Palms include, golfing at Wild Dunes, IOP recreation center (tennis, pickleball, cardio room), kayaking, dolphin watching, crabbing and fishing, walking along the three mile stretch of sandy beach, combing the shoreline for shells and other treasures, or just simply enjoying the island life.
