Payment and Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
House Rules
- 1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile.
- 2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).
- 3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given.
- 4. Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We also have a washer and dyer on site for your convenience.
- 5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Additionally, smoking on the building grounds is strictly prohibited. Please smoke outside of the property.
- 6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be asked to leave and charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, all platforms have specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from the platform.
- 7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.
- 8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels. Makeup towels are provided.
- 9. If the space is left excessively dirty $300 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $250. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $300.
- 10. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request. Both the owner and staff have pet allergies. If traveling with pets please inquire about our pet-friendly units.
- 11. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.
- 12. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.
- 13. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.
- 14. Message us for long term stays.
- 15. As required by law in the City of New Orleans, the home is equipped with a noise monitoring device that measures decibel levels in the home. Tampering with or disabling this equipment can result in an additional fine. You will receive an automated warning message if the device is removed from its mounting plate or if the noise in the home exceeds thresholds set by the city. After repeated warnings, you may face eviction from the property for failure to comply.
- 16. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own or use one of the free streaming options. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.
- 17. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it's possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested after your additional time has been approved.
- 18. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.
- 19. Absolutely no glass allowed near the pool. If glass is found, guests will be charged a $1,500 drain and refilling fee.
- 20. Any damage to the property caused by a you or your guest shall be repaired at your expense.
- 21. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
