Moosey Creek Lodge is a 2 minute drive to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, a 3 minute drive to the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, an 8 minute drive to downtown Banner Elk, a 10-15 minute drive to Banner Elk Winery or Grandfather Mountain Winery, a 15 minute drive to the nearest Blue Ridge Parkway access which offers gorgeous mountain views and overlooks, a 20 minute drive to Beech Mountain Ski Resort, a 20 minute drive to Grandfather Mountain’s Mile High Swinging Bridge, a 20 minute drive to the famous Linn Cove Viaduct, and a 25 minute drive to the bustling downtown Boone.

Additional Notes:
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Please note the homeowners use an exterior camera facing the street. No other cameras are pointed at the home or at any of the common areas.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This property is NOT pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. The main road leading to this home is paved with moderate incline.
- Parking for a maximum of 6 vehicles.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
