The beach is calling you at Buoy O’Riley waterfront Penthouse. Welcome to this gorgeous, four bedroom, three bathroom condo. Back Bay is a beautiful area where you can hear the waves lap upon the beach and potentially see a few dolphins while you’re there.
Relax into this Italian leather couch and watch a movie with the family on the 60-inch curved smart TV with premium on-demand cable, Netflix access, and more. This space is only enhanced by granite countertops in the kitchen.
The kitchen is enhanced with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and such little luxuries as a waffle maker, a new Keurig K-Cup coffee maker, a blender, and complete sets of cookware, glassware, and dinnerware.
All of the bedrooms have been renovated with new paint, beachy décor, and smart TVs as well.

The Sanctuary offers wonderful on-site amenities, including three outdoor pools (open mid-May to mid-September), Viking grills, and two fitness centers. Adjacent to the complex is the 400-foot fishing pier at Little Island Park, which also includes a children’s playground; tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts; and enough public parking for the unexpected visitor. Just down the road, you can explore Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which offers beach access and hiking trails galore.

This is not an oceanfront unit, it is located in an oceanside building. This unit has sweeping views of back bay, incredible sunsets and the sounds of the waves crashing along the Atlantic

We do not provide any type of snorkeling equipment
Sanctuary condos are 8-10 miles from a grocery store we recommend doing your grocery shopping on the way in to Sandbridge. There is a fabulous market as soon as you enter Sandbridge for your convenience.

There is ongoing construction at the Sanctuary at both A & B Buildings through 2023.
The hot tub will be unavailable in 2023-2024

We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2)Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests.
If you are booking a flat for over 30 days, you will be provided with the standard tenant package as required under Virginia law, and be required to acknowledge receipt of the same.
The terms of our Agreement will remain as agreed to on the booking platform, and anything implied under Virginia state law.
Please note that the building has ring cameras monitoring and recording the exterior and common areas of the building at all times. There are absolutely no cameras on or in the interior of any unit.
If you are traveling with a pet please inform your host prior to arrival.
Our properties require us to collect the name and picture of government-issued photo ID for each guest.The property management company, our guests and our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. This verification step keeps everyone safe and provides additional insurance on your stay. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
For the comfort of our guests and team members, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted inside or within thirty (30) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke your card can be charged and your security deposit will be forfeited. The property management company will contact the booking service, terminate your stay and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All of our homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe, these devices can not record or decipher what you are saying they are only for monitoring noise. Noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a representative will respond and your reservation could be terminated without refund.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains - If found that these cause plumbing issues the property management company can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.
* Baby Wipes/Wet Wipes/Cleaning Pads
* Dental Floss
* Q-tips/Cotton Balls
* Diapers
* Pills
* Paper Towels/Tissues or excess toilet paper
Fireworks are illegal in Virginia. If you are found to be engaged in setting off fireworks we are required by the city to immediately terminate your stay. Also If you are found responsible for having started a wildfire or dune fire with fireworks, you may be liable for all suppression and reclamation costs or even face imprisonment and fines.
3) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus the property management company reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.
4) There is free parking for 2 vehicles. There is parking for two vehicles in the parking garage under building B. Please park one vehicle in the assigned parking space. The second vehicle may be parked in any unmarked space or a space marked compact car. Please ensure permits are displayed at all times, as towing is strictly enforced at your expense. No parking is available anywhere else in the development. If any additional parking spaces are needed outside of the two spots given there is overflow parking located next door at Little Island Park.

The hot tub and pools open from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Memorial Day and close at Labor Day and may or may not have interruptions for any kind of maintenance repairs.
8) The Sanctuary has a no-pet policy. Only service animals are permitted with written documentation on letterhead from a licensed professional currently providing treatment to a guest of the reservation which identifies the need for the service animals and confirms the guest is currently treated by such professional.
Stays less than 30 nights are governed by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA mandates that services animals, not animals providing emotional support (commonly referred to as ESAs), are permitted in public places which include hotels or short-term rentals. A service animal is distinguished from an ESA because it performs a specific task in relation to the human’s disability. An ESA is not trained to perform any specific task.
***Please note that we must accept ESAs for stays exceeding 30 nights so the above statement does not apply to stays of that duration***
