This three bedroom coastal cottage is perfect for your next family vacation! Upon entering the cottage you step through the screened in front porch. The private porch is the perfect place to drink your morning coffee or an evening cocktail at sunset. Inside is a spacious comfortable living room to kick back and relax after a day on the beach. The open concept layout brings together the living space and kitchen. An updated well-equipped kitchen is stocked with pots/pans/utensils to whip up a local seafood dish during your stay. The dining area comfortably seats six at the table. There is a washer and dryer in the cottage for your convenience.
The main bedroom features a king-size bed with flat screen TV. The main bathroom has a dazzling walk-in shower. The second bedroom features a queen-size bed with flat screen TV. The second bathroom features a shower/tub combo. The third bedroom features a queen-size bed.
*Hot tub is currently undergoing renovations and is out of service until end of September 2025.
Getting Around:
The Rookery is located 14 miles down Fort Morgan Road at mile marker 6, turn right into the Rookery. Go across the wooden bridge, and at the first stop sign take a right. Unit 2202 is a yellow cottage, it is located in between units 2602 and 2601 between a pink and blue house. The lockbox is located on the door handle of the screened door.
Public beach access is located half-mile from The Rookery. Take a right on Fort Morgan Road when leaving the Rookery and then take the first left onto Cortez Street. The beach is located ahead of you down the street.
Parking notes: There is a limit of two cars. They are $28 each and will be left on the counter the day of arrival.
No parking of RV’s, trailers or watercraft onsite.
There is a pool key/fob is located on the keyring. Use this during your stay! You must return it or the HOA charges $100 to replace.
For the total comfort of our guests, the kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans. Yet, seasoning ingredients are not provided for the safety of our guests.
Absolutely no pets allowed in this unit.

The area offers top rated golf courses including The Peninsula and Kiva Dunes. Six miles west from the cottage is Fort Morgan State Historic Site. Restaurants in the area include Fort Morgan Pizza, Tacky Jacks, Sassy Bass Amazin’ Grill. Take the day to explore Gulf Shores or head 14 miles east to Hwy 59 where you can find a variety of restaurants, shopping, and activities for everyone in the group!

*The complex DOES require parking passes. The complex charges $28/parking pass and limits two vehicles per condo.
Your parking passes will be on the counter in the kitchen upon arrival. Fill this out COMPLETELY and place it VISIBLY in your vehicle’s dashboard.
You must be at least 25 to rent at The Rookery. No parking of RV’s, buses, trailers or watercraft onsite.
