Apartment Valparaiso 1B in Burriana Beach with Swimming Pool and Air Conditioning
Walk 500 metres from your living room to the sands of Burriana. This newly refurbished flat eliminates morning waits with two full bathrooms and a top-of-the-range kitchen with dishwasher. Life here comes down to alternating swimming in the Mediterranean Sea with the children’s and adults’ swimming pool of the Valparaiso complex without touching your car keys.
Efficient layout and thermal comfort inside
The integral reform of the flat prioritises functionality with a modern kitchen equipped with dishwasher, eliminating household chores during your stay. The bedrooms have high quality mattresses to ensure a good night’s rest after a busy day, with one bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, and a second bedroom with two single beds. The air conditioning and high speed internet connection guarantee an air-conditioned environment and stable connectivity for the use of international TV channels.
Light and outdoor space in the apartment
The living room connects to a private terrace where you can have breakfast or read before heading down to the beach. Being a family-oriented property, natural light bathes the main rooms, highlighting the finishes of the recent refurbishment. It is the ideal space to organise your day while checking out the local gastronomic offer thanks to the high speed Wi-Fi available throughout the property.
Safe bathing in the Valparaiso communal swimming pool
The complex has a seasonal communal swimming pool open from April to October. With the safety of the little ones in mind, the complex includes a separate children’s pool. This allows children to swim in a controlled environment while adults relax in the communal areas of the complex, just a few steps from your door.
Strategic access to Burriana Beach and services
Located just 500 metres from Burriana Beach, access to the seafront promenade is direct and quick. Within a radius of 500 to 600 metres you will find a technical and varied gastronomic offer, from Restaurant Ayo to The Steak House or RAW Lounge. For grocery shopping, there is a Mercadona and a Carrefour within 500 metres, which facilitates the daily logistics without having to travel to the town centre for the basics.
Arrival logistics and parking in the Burriana area
The Valparaiso 1B flat does not have its own parking space. As it is located in one of the most sought after areas of Nerja, on-street parking may be limited in high season. We recommend the use of the paid public car park in the Burriana area or look for parking in the surrounding streets if arriving by private vehicle. The Balcón de Europa is 1.5 km away, a comfortable distance for a stroll or a 5-minute drive.

About the area
Nerja, a coastal town in Spain's Costa del Sol, is a picturesque destination that captivates visitors with its stunning beaches, charming old town, and the spectacular Balcón de Europa viewpoint. This former sleepy fishing village has transformed into a vibrant tourist spot without losing its Andalusian charm.
The town's crowning glory is undoubtedly the Balcón de Europa, a palm-lined promenade offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding mountains. Perched on a cliff, this balcony was once a fortress designed to keep out British pirates and now serves as the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a sunset gaze.
Nerja's beaches are varied and plentiful, with Playa Burriana being the most famous. This Blue Flag beach is a haven for sunbathers and water sports enthusiasts alike, offering everything from kayaking to paddleboarding. The smaller coves, such as Calahonda and Carabeillo, provide more secluded spots for those seeking tranquility.
The town's historical narrative is rich and can be explored through its landmarks, such as the 17th-century Church of El Salvador and the remnants of the Roman fortress. However, the true historical gem is the Caves of Nerja, a series of caverns stretching for almost 5 kilometers. These prehistoric caves are home to the world's largest stalagmite and host an annual music and dance festival within their natural amphitheater.
Nerja's old town is a labyrinth of narrow, winding streets adorned with white-washed houses and bursts of colorful flowers. The area brims with shops selling local crafts, tapas bars, and restaurants where visitors can indulge in regional specialties like fresh seafood and paella.
For those looking to immerse themselves in local culture, the town's calendar is dotted with festivals, including the San Isidro pilgrimage in May and the Nerja Fair in October. These events are characterized by traditional music, dance, and costumes, offering a glimpse into the vibrant Andalusian spirit.
Active travelers will appreciate the nearby hiking trails, such as the Rio Chillar walk, which leads through a river gorge and offers a refreshing escape during the hot summer months. The surrounding countryside also provides opportunities for mountain biking and horseback riding.
In essence, Nerja is a destination that offers a perfect mix of beach relaxation, cultural exploration, and outdoor adventure. Its blend of natural beauty, historical depth, and lively local culture makes it an enchanting spot for travelers seeking the quintessential Spanish coastal experience.
