Our mission is to empower individuals to immerse themselves in new places by having a home wherever they go. We do this by providing artfully designed fully furnished and serviced apartments for stays of one month or more. We are currently present in some of the most important cities in Europe.
Mawun feels like an Indonesian escape with a Barcelona backdrop. This 60 square meter home pays tribute to its island inspiration, as seen through its dreamy textiles and organic interiors. Mawun is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom bliss located in the heart of Gracia. Boasting a rich tradition of slow lunches in its many plazas and its eccentric mix of shops, Gracia is a beloved neighborhood for many Barcelona locals.
Before stepping into Mawun’s stunning space, the rooftop calls guests to enjoy the building’s pool, solarium, and breathtaking views. After a golden sunset, head back inside Mawun’s interiors to indulge in artful design and Indonesian concepts.
Past the rattan-style room divider, Mawun’s entrance gives way to an open concept living and dining area. A spacious lounge fills the salon, fit with a full entertainment system, while the back of the room centers around a delightful dining set for four. Unique, handcrafted cloth art hangs behind the dining area. To the left-hand side of the space is the kitchen area. Muted tones and flush cabinetry and appliances allow the kitchen area to blend seamlessly with the rest of the space.
The hallway to the left leads to the remainder of the home. The door to the left opens to Mawun’s detached bathroom. A traditional Catalan tiling covers the floor. The bathroom emits a spa ambiance with its luxurious fixtures, rain shower, and large basin sink.
Across from the detached bathroom is the first bedroom. The space blends function with leisure as a dedicated workstation sits to the left of the room and a plush daybed to the right. The french doors in the first bedroom open up to a small balcony.
The ensuite bedroom at the end of the hall is a true delight. A layered design echoes throughout the entirety of the space with slate-colored accent walls upon entry and a textured wooden panel design behind the queen-sized bed. In the left-hand corner is the built-in storage and a door leading to the ensuite bathroom. The ensuite mirrors that of the detached bathroom with design and luxury, highlighting an equally royal walk-in shower.
All bedding and linens are provided.

About the area
Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain's Catalonia region, is renowned for its art, architecture, and vibrant street life. The city is a feast for the senses, with its colorful mosaic of cultural offerings and Mediterranean charm.
One of Barcelona's most iconic landmarks is the Sagrada Família, the unfinished masterpiece of architect Antoni Gaudí. This basilica, with its soaring spires and intricate facades, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of the city's creative spirit. Gaudí's influence is also evident in Park Güell, a whimsical public park filled with eccentric sculptures, mosaics, and panoramic views of the city.
The Gothic Quarter, with its narrow medieval streets, is the heart of old Barcelona. Here, visitors can explore the historic Cathedral of Barcelona, the bustling La Rambla street, and the vibrant Boqueria Market, a sensory overload of fresh produce, seafood, and cured meats.
Art enthusiasts will find a treasure trove of museums, including the Picasso Museum, which houses one of the most extensive collections of artworks by the 20th-century Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. The National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) showcases a vast array of works from Romanesque to modern art.
Barcelona's beaches, such as Barceloneta, offer a place to relax and enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle. The city's waterfront is also home to the modern Maremagnum mall and the striking W Barcelona hotel, shaped like a sail against the skyline.
For those interested in the performing arts, the Gran Teatre del Liceu opera house and the Palau de la Música Catalana concert hall host world-class performances in stunning settings. The city's nightlife is equally dynamic, with a range of bars, clubs, and live music venues to suit all tastes.
Foodies will revel in Barcelona's culinary scene, which ranges from traditional Catalan dishes to innovative gastronomy. Tapas bars, seafood restaurants, and Michelin-starred establishments offer a taste of the region's rich flavors.
Barcelona is also a shopper's paradise, with everything from designer boutiques in the Passeig de Gràcia to quirky shops in the El Born district. The city's festivals, such as La Mercè, add to the lively atmosphere with music, fireworks, and cultural events.
In essence, Barcelona is a city that never fails to enchant. Its blend of historic grandeur, artistic flair, and beachside relaxation makes it an irresistible destination for travelers from around the globe.
