Tabbystone Cottage - 4323 14th Street

You will get the beach vibe at our quaint home called Tabbystone Cottage! THE SPACE We are about a 3-minute walk to Gould’s Inlet located on the northern tip of East Beach. This is a prime location for bird watching, fishing and a great place for soaking in the sun. Staying in is a great option at the Tabbystone Cottage as we have an outdoor covered pavilion, with a grill and firepit - or chill on one of front porches shaded by a moss draped live oak. Enter at the side door into the kitchen, which opens to a dining area for 6 guests and family room with a large TV. From the dining area you can also access the screened in porch. Bedrooms: * King Suite - Upstairs suite with a king bed, TV, sitting area, dining table and access to the open deck. This suite has an adjoining bathroom with combination tub/shower. * Queen Room - The Queen bedroom (sleeps 2) with TV, located on the first floor. * Twins room - two twin beds, TV, and adjoins a shared bathroom with combination tub/shower. Behind the home is a covered pavilion with a gas grill, comfortable conversation seating, a picnic table. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse of the sand from the day. Why Stay on East Beach: The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould’s Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum. MORE INFO Pets: This is not a pet friendly home. No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general. Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend(last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups.We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
