From Denver International (DEN): ~2hr 15min drive via I-70 W to Hwy 91 S over Fremont Pass (11,318 ft). 4WD or chains recommended Nov–Apr. From Eagle County Regional (EGE): ~1hr 15min drive, lower mountain pass exposure than the Denver route. From Aspen/Pitkin County (ASE): ~2hr in summer via Independence Pass (closed mid-Oct to late May), 2hr 30min in winter via the long way around.
