Papa’s Place is a fully renovated 1900s brick loft inside Leadville’s historic Old Saint Vincent building — 14-ft ceilings, exposed original brick walls, a corner fireplace, and a record player with vinyl. Three blocks to Harrison Avenue (Main Street Leadville), one block to the Mineral Belt Trail, 15 minutes to Ski Cooper, and 27 minutes to Copper Mountain. Sleeps 4 in a queen bedroom plus a pull-out sofa bed. Full kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, dedicated workspace, and one off-street parking spot included.
Papa’s Place is Unit 102 of Leadville’s historic Old Saint Vincent building — a fully renovated 1900s brick structure with 14-ft ceilings, exposed original brick walls, and a corner fireplace under original fixtures. 621 sq ft, sleeps 4.
Living Room: Sectional seating, corner electric fireplace, Smart TV with Netflix and HBO, record player with vinyl collection. Tall historic windows and abundant natural light under 14-ft ceilings.
Kitchen: Full kitchen with dishwasher, oven, stovetop, full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Cookware, dishware, and utensils stocked for cooking for 2 or 4.
Dining + Workspace: Counter-height dining for 4 plus a dedicated workspace with strong Wi-Fi.
Bedroom: Queen bed with log-cabin quilt, exposed brick accent wall, Smart TV with Netflix and HBO, direct access to the full bathroom.
Bathroom: Shower/tub combo, wood vanity, hair dryer, towels provided. Recently upgraded water heaters deliver reliable hot showers.
Laundry: In-unit stackable washer and dryer. Detergent provided.
Sleeps 4 in one queen bedroom plus a pull-out queen sofa bed in the living room. One off-street parking spot included.
Guests have the entire 1-bedroom loft. Self-service check-in via keypad — a digital guidebook with the access code and building entry instructions is emailed immediately after booking. One off-street parking spot is included; additional vehicles park on the street.
A car is recommended. Downtown Leadville is fully walkable from Papa’s Place, but the ski areas, Turquoise Lake, and 14er trailheads all require a short drive. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is minimal and unreliable here — plan to drive or pre-book any transport.

No pets — Old Saint Vincent HOA rules do not permit pets in the building.
Smoke-free — no smoking in the unit, stairways, entryways, or anywhere on the building exterior.
Parking: One off-street spot per unit. No RVs, boats, or trailers. Additional vehicles park on the street.
No elevator: Historic building — all access is via stairs. Factor this in if traveling with an infant, small children, or mobility limitations.
Baseboard heaters: Electric baseboard heaters run along the walls and get hot to the touch. Supervise young children accordingly.
Winter temperatures: Historic building with original windows. No central heat — on the coldest winter nights it can feel cool. The corner fireplace, a space heater, and extra blankets are provided. Bring layers December through February.
Altitude: Leadville sits above 10,000 ft. Some guests experience headaches, dizziness, or fatigue — drink extra water, go easy on alcohol your first night, consider travel insurance.
