This charming apartment is close to the city centre and harbour area. The apartment is furnished with design furniture and has free parking on site. Located only a few minute walk from Reykjavík’s main shopping street and bohemian old harbour area, but still in a quiet, family friendly neighbourhood with short distances to all amenities. Cook in a modern kitchen and have breakfast at a table where morning light streams in through a row of picture windows. Gather on a leather couch to plan activities, and freshen up afterwards in bathrooms with a tub, shower, and heated towel racks. The house was built in 1983 and was renovated in 2016 on the inside and out. The apartment is very open and bright with a lot of character and charm to them. Everything in the apartments is top of line from home appliances to wooden floors and design furniture. The apartment has a dining table, kitchen with a coffee machine, dishwasher, kettle, microwave and all the basic kitchen tools that one might need. The are beds for 6 persons in total, both single and double depending on the rooms as well as a sleeping couch. Spacious sofas are situated in the living room. Plenty of closet space and both bathrooms have all the necessities. One bathroom has a shower and a bath whilst the other only has a walk in shower. There are also spacious balconies connected to the kitchen and also second balconies are connected to the master bedroom. The guest has access to the whole apartment as well as laundry room in the basement and storage for luggage if needed. The apartment comes with free wifi and parking spot right outside the house. Buses run close to the apartment and through the city centre. Also taxis can usually be found close. Cots, cribs, high seats and other children/baby furniture are available upon request. Parking is free in front of our apartment. We have cameras monitoring the common areas of the building and front doors, for your safety
