At Bird’s Eye Retreat, you can enjoy a guilt-free vacation in our NET ZERO home, which is completely sustainable and solar-powered. Our home generates all of its electricity and water on-site and can operate entirely off-grid if needed. For your convenience, we even provide an EV charging station.
Bird’s Eye Retreat is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home located directly on the shoreline of Beaver Lake. With sweeping views of the lake, a luxury hot tub and sauna, room for ten guests, and ample lounge space, our lakeside escape is perfect for groups looking to get away from it all.
Upon entering our home, you’ll be greeted by an open-concept living room and kitchen, featuring gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake. Our large, fully equipped kitchen has all the essentials you need to create your favorite dishes, plus dining space for six. When you’re not out on the water, relax in our living room and enjoy your favorite shows and movies on our 55-inch Smart TV with Roku.
When it’s time to settle in for the evening, choose from any of our three bedrooms, each complete with luxurious linens, towels, and amenities:
(1) The Master bedroom features a King-size bed, plenty of storage, direct access to the porch, and an en suite bathroom.
(2) The second bedroom offers a plush King-size bed, a Queen-size pullout Sofa bed, deck access, and a 55-inch Smart TV with Roku.
(3) The third bedroom includes a Full-size bed, a Full-size trundle, a desk, deck access, and a 43-inch Smart TV with Roku.
The second and third bedrooms both have access to a nearby hallway bath.
Our outdoor living space is the true star of Bird’s Eye Retreat! Sit back and enjoy the panoramic views of the lake or fire up our propane grill for a meal in the great outdoors.
Guest Access & Amenities:
Guests will have access to the entire pictured house, all appliances, any kitchen supplies, and all amenities. We provide amenities in the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room with enough to get you started on your trip. We do not provide excess for more than a couple of days’ worth, and guests are responsible for purchasing these items for personal use if they run out during their stay. Exterior cameras may be at the property for security purposes.
★ Not pet-friendly.
★ Enter the lake at your own risk.
★ There are 2 kayaks available for guest use. They can be found at ’Fossil Cove’, the west lake access area attached to a log with a carabiner near the shoreline. After use, please secure them back to the log.
★ The house uses well water, which is regularly treated though a slight sulfur odor is to be expected.
★ County‑wide burn bans may be in effect during your stay, which could limit use of the fire pit. For more details on burn bans, visit the Arkansas Department of Agriculture - Forestry Division website.
★ Water levels are subject to change at any time due to environmental factors outside of the host’s control which may impact the accessibility and appearance of the lake. Cancelations due to water levels will not be honored outside of the cancelation policy. Guests are solely responsible for preparing for their stays accordingly by checking water levels ahead of their stays.
House Rules Strictly Enforced:
- Check-in is any time after 3:00 PM.
- No parties or events are allowed unless your request was pre-arranged with us, the host, and our event fee has been paid. If an un-approved party or event is discovered, you will be fined $1000.
- This property is not pet-friendly. Pets discovered at the property will incur a fine of $400.
- Unauthorized checkout delays will incur a fine of $100 per hour.
- This is a non-smoking home. If you smoke in the home, you will be fined $1000 plus the cost of any smoke remediation necessary.
- Refunds for unused services such as pet fees, event fees, early check‑in, and late check‑out fees, are subject to the same cancellation policy that applies.
- There is a QR code located on or near the refrigerator. It provides helpful information about your stay, including house rules, Wi‑Fi details, amenity instructions, important phone numbers, and answers to common questions.
