This open floor plan home has all of the fine details to make your stay in Port Aransas unforgettable. Island Gem is a quick walk to the Beach or you can get into the Port Aransas spirit and rent a Beach Buggie. Either way, enjoy our brand new private neighborhood boardwalk through the dunes, right to the beach! When you are not out enjoying the beach, choose between two sparkling swimming pools with water features; one for families and one for adults only. This house is perfect for couples, large families, or multiple families. It provides something for everyone whether you want to kick back and relax or explore all that Port Aransas has to offer. We are just a few minutes away from restaurants, boutiques, and golfing. The living room and two of the bedrooms come equipped with a flat screen television with satellite TV service and complimentary wireless internet service. We also have two DVD players and over 75 movies to enjoy. There are two bedrooms downstairs with queen beds. One of the downstairs rooms is the master suite which has a beautifully tiled walk in shower, duel vessel sinks, and a huge walk in closet. The other bedroom is near the front of the home and has access to the hallway bathroom. The home also has a large laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, one with two twin over twin bunk beds and one with a queen bed. There is a bathroom in the hallway between the two rooms. The kitchen and living area is a great room open-style concept, perfect for entertaining. The large dining area has seating for eight and the island Bar has seating for four additional people. The kitchen is exceptionally equipped with a full-size refrigerator, gourmet electric range, cookware, slow cooker, microwave, with multiple sets of tableware; everything you need to prepare great meals in paradise! Our Mermaid bar includes a Keurig, a full size coffee maker for the morning and a cocktail setup for later in the afternoon. The backyard is spacious and private. You can enjoy the charcoal grill, playing a game of cornhole (provided) or just relaxing on the beautiful sectional sofa or dining table under a large covered patio complete with ceiling fans. The front porch offers a quaint seating area with views of the duck and crane inhabited pond; perfect for early morning and late afternoon relaxing! There is an outdoor heated shower on the side of the house for rinsing off after a day at the beach. It’s equipped with a place to hang your beach towels and keep your things ready to go for your next fun filled day. We have provided boogie boards and noodles for your enjoyment. Come stay at Island Gem and make your vacation a memorable one! Please note: The garage is reserved exclusively for owner use. The driveway can accommodate up to 6 standard sized vehicles. Note that large trucks or SUVs may reduce the number of vehicles able to park. Street parking is not allowed. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot guarantee early check-ins or late departures. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure the property is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay. ACCESS CODE We have an electronic lock on our property. You won’t need to go to an office and pick up keys. This code will be a part of the check-in instructions sent 30 minutes prior to your arrival. When you get in the area you can go straight to the property, unpack, relax and enjoy. INCIDENTALS: The house comes stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware, linens, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and bath towels. There is a coffee maker. SELF CATERING: All of our properties are self-catering. No maid or towel service is provided during your stay. SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING: Beach towels, extra paper goods (toilet paper, facial tissue and paper towels), extra pillows if you wish to sleep with more than one, coffee and coffee filters, spices/seasoning, bathing soap and shampoo, extra dish soap, extra trash bags, sun tan lotion/sun block and beach gear.
