Borgo dell’Agrumeto is a recently restored rural retreat located in the countryside near Ostuni, composed of two independent historic buildings: a lamia and a Saracen trullo. Set on a hilltop bordered by woodland and Mediterranean scrub, this villa offers a secluded setting just a short drive from Ostuni and San Michele Salentino. Designed and furnished with contemporary style, the lamia contains three bedrooms and a spacious living area, while the trullo offers a further independent suite. Both buildings are air-conditioned and equipped with outdoor dining areas under shaded verandas. A half-moon infinity pool lies in the grounds, surrounded by lavender, rosemary and cork trees.

Interior:
The property consists of two independent buildings, both on one floor. LAMIA (90 sq m) – Two entrances with shuttered French windows; kitchen with peninsula and seating; living area with sofa and console table separated by a bioethanol fireplace; bathroom with shower (no bidet); one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower; one twin bedroom with bunk beds; one double bedroom with king-size bed. All rooms have underfloor heating and air conditioning. SARACEN TRULLO (45 sq m) – Entrance into open-plan kitchen and living area; one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and direct access to garden via French window. Ceiling fan and garden view. Air conditioning in the bedrooms and in the living areas (except in the Trullo bedroom with ceiling fan).
Park:
The fenced property extends over 4000 sq m and is bordered by woodland and Mediterranean vegetation. A 250 sq m lawned terrace is planted with lime, apple, mulberry, persimmon and prickly pear trees, as well as lavender and rosemary bushes. Stone walkways connect the two buildings with the pool and parking area. Each unit has a shaded veranda with dining area and sitting space. A gravel drive leads from the entrance gate to a parking area for four cars. The boundary fence varies in height, with a maximum height of over 2 metres and a lower stretch (approx. 1.20 m) backing onto a private forest.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens’ grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The pool lies 30 m from the lamia and 40 m from the trullo. Half-moon shape; approximately 30 sq m; depth from 0.80 to 1.80 m; cement mortar finish; saltwater purification system; internal lighting. The solarium features a sand-effect finish surrounded by cork trees and aromatic shrubs. Sunbeds may be placed on the solarium or packed-earth area. Open from the first Saturday in April to the last Saturday in October.
