Puffin Cottage Holidays presents The Cwtch – a beautifully styled boutique holiday apartment in the peaceful village of Penally. Occupying an elevated position, it boasts sweeping views across rolling countryside, the magnificent Pembrokeshire coastline and out towards the serene Caldey Island.
Set within a lovingly restored 19th-century building of just seven properties, The Cwtch combines the character of its heritage with a high-quality, modern finish to create a truly welcoming coastal retreat.
The picturesque village of Penally is a haven of tranquillity, offering a village store, two cosy pubs and two excellent restaurants – including the renowned Rhosyn at Penally Abbey, just a two-minute stroll away and proudly featured in the Michelin Guide.
From your doorstep, it’s just a 10-minute downhill walk to the Blue Flag South Beach, with the vibrant seaside town of Tenby a pleasant 25-minute walk along the coast. In the summer months, boat trips depart daily from Tenby harbour, and many of Pembrokeshire’s best attractions – including Folly Farm, Heatherton and Manor House Wildlife Park – are within easy reach.
Arrive to breathtaking views before following steps down to the lower-ground-floor apartment, where you’ll find:

A charming feature window seat frames the coastal views – the perfect spot for reading or simply soaking up the scenery. Comfortable sofa, dining seating for 4, Smart TV with Freeview, and window seat. Fully equipped kitchen with retro-style appliances, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, electric oven and hob.
Bedroom 1 and Ensuite:
King-size bed with premium bedding, Freeview TV, ample storage. Ensuite includes a walk-in double shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2:
Twin beds with high-quality bedding, Freeview TV, ample storage.
Family Bathroom:
Bath with shower over, toilet and basin.
Outside Space:
Private decked area with seating for 4 – the perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset drinks overlooking the sea.
