Grayton Beach is the very first 30A beach town and is named for Charles Gray, the Army major who built its first home in 1885. “Nice Dogs, Strange People” – the unofficial town motto says it all. Populated with historic cottages, quaint shops, and galleries, all with a fun and funky vibe, Grayton Beach is the soul of 30A. Here you’ll find a mix of families, celebrities (local and otherwise), and even fishing charter captains making it an old-school coastal town that still feels fresh and new. Grayton Beach is home to the world-famous Red Bar along with some other really great dining and shopping options.
