Make yourself at home in your 1-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment - ideal location with views of Lake Burley Griffin in the award-winning, aesthetically stunning "Nishi" building.
You can access all the property’s amenities throughout your stay. Please read our listing thoroughly to find answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
BEDROOM:
The bedroom has a queen-sized bed topped with professionally cleaned and pressed linen. It also has plenty of wardrobe space for your luggage.
BATHROOM:
The bathroom has a shower and toilet. We provide bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and body wash. You will need to re-stock depending on usage frequency and length of stay.
KITCHEN:
You can use the kitchen if you’re craving a home-cooked meal. While you stay you will have access to the following:
- fridge/freezer
- stovetop
- microwave
- oven
- crockery and cutlery
- dishwasher
We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as milk, coffee and tea. Guests will need to purchase food items for longer stays.
NOTE: We are not offering a TV on this property.
LAUNDRY AREA:
A washer and dryer are available to use, as well as an iron and ironing board.
PARKING:
The parking garage provides parking space for one car. There is also paid street parking available:
- Phillip Law Street - $6/2hrs
- Wilson Carpark - Public Parking area $5/hr
Check-in details will be sent two days before your arrival. Access codes will be provided 4 hours before check-in to keep your booking secure.
Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee. Losing the key set or leaving it inside the apartment will incur a minimum of $355 charge.
I am available mostly through Airbnb messaging but I give privacy to my guests. If there is an urgent issue, you can always call me.
I have been living in Canberra for quite some time now and can help you navigate your way around the local area if you need me. I can also provide you with tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun!
The Nishi building has so much to offer. The Makeshift cafe downstairs is not only cool and quirky but has some of the best coffee around. Monster Kitchen and Bar has incredible food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Be sure to book, it’s very popular :)
Parlour Bar is a cosy dining alternative only one minute’s walk away. Located in the historic heritage-listed building that was once Hotel Acton, Parlour offers lunch, dinner, snacks and amazing cocktails, wines and beers. You can dine in or take pre-prepared meals (with wine or beer) back to the apartment to enjoy the amazing lake views.
The Palace Electric Cinema is just downstairs and has everything you need for your movie-watching experience.
Tourist attractions nearby include Questacon, the National Museum, the National Library and Floriade (September to October) which are all within walking distance.
Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages.
Please do not flush wet wipes, paper towels, or sanitary products. These cause blockages in the sewer system. Dispose in the bin provided.
