The Neighborhood
Falassarna is a seaside village on the West part of Crete in the Kissamos Prefecture about 59km west of Chania. It hosts some of the most famous beaches in Crete of various lengths, all facing the West (which makes it a wonderful place to watch the sunset from). The waters are very clean with lovely turquoise colors because of the sandy bottom. The exotic main long sandy beach of Falassarna which is called Pachia Ammos has been awarded the blue flag beach and as one of the ten best beaches in Europe many times in the past. It is listed as Nature 2000 due to the wide variety of flora and fauna, which is a place with gorgeous natural beauty. The beaches are well organized with many umbrellas, a few snack bars, cafes, and a lot of water sports. From the archaeological side, in the area, there are the remains of a fortified Hellenistic harbour. Because of a sudden uplift of the West of Crete 1500 years ago, the harbour is now located inland. Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
