Cane Creek Farmhouse is an estate farmhouse located in a small, private farming community only 20 minutes southeast of downtown Asheville, 15 minutes to Asheville Regional airport, and 20 minutes to the gates of the Biltmore Estate. This restored mountain farmhouse offers a relaxing and invigorating escape for the entire family. The home has been fully renovated and modernized for all the comforts one would expect in a luxury vacation rental. The timber used to build the home and barns is centuries old and exudes an incredible amount of warmth and serenity. With soaring rafters, high ceilings, and vaulted spaces, you immediately feel at home and relaxed, like you were meant to be here.
The main floor boasts a spectacular chef’s grade kitchen, 2 fireplaces, the main living room, a small den, and a bedroom with a full-size bed. Also on the main floor is a full bathroom with a traditional clawfoot bathtub with shower, mud room, laundry area, coffee bar, and access to the side patio. A beadboard-lined stairwell leads to the upper level of the home with a primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom (shower only), a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bedroom with two twin beds. A powder room and additional full bathroom (shower only) provide additional space upstairs for groups or large families. A third-level loft area can be accessed from the hallway of the upper level and is home to two sitting areas for an after-adventure nap or a quiet space for enjoying a favorite book. Please note: This home is pet-friendly with an additional fee. The grounds can be explored and enjoyed, but the surrounding area is an active, working farm. ALL barns and outbuildings on the property are NOT accessible to guests. Please be respectful of the space. There is a Ring doorbell on the main barn for safety.
