Bearfoot Lodge is a Mountain-Contemporary two-bedroom condo in the Lodges at Elkmont community. The town of Banner Elk is less than 2 miles away, with downtown shops and restaurants. This condo is also less than 7 miles to both Beech Mountain Ski Resort and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, less than 10 miles to Grandfather Mountain, 12 miles to Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Ziplines, about 15 miles to Boone, and less than 20 miles to Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, and Appalachian Ski Mountain. Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, and Watauga Lake are all less than 30 miles away. Also, the Banner Elk Winery is a comfortable 400-yard walk along the creek.
Bearfoot Lodge offers cozy, one-level living with mountain charm. An open floor plan includes a kitchen with custom cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless appliances. The adjacent dining room accommodates six guests and two at the bar, plus four more at the outdoor dining table. The Great Room boasts hardwood floors, custom built-in cabinetry, and a central stone gas log fireplace with a flat-screen TV. Off the main living area is a covered patio with outdoor dining and comfy rocking chairs to enjoy the mountain views. This also accesses the common greenspace with mountain views and rippling sounds of the creek below.

There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer, central heating and air conditioning, cable television, and WiFi internet. The common area, a short walk from the condo, offers a picnic area, gas fire pit, gazebo, and wonderful views of the wildlife in the valley below and of the mountain tops beyond.
This cabin is not pet-friendly. There is parking for two (2) vehicles. Access to this home is down one flight of stairs.
