The Platte River is one of the most beautiful and accessible rivers in the area. This newly-built cottage sits on a delightful stretch, where the paddling and swimming are what the very best northern Michigan summertime memories are made of. Easy walking distance to the small town of Honor for restaurants and shops. Great place to walk your pup. The cottage is equipped with everything you’ll need to feel at home. The river will be calling to you long after you’ve said your goodbyes.
This cottage is 1,500 square feet in size.
Open floor plan on main level:
Living space with electric fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area.
Private Bedroom (Queen bed) with a Full bathroom (step-in shower) across the hall.
Upper level is a large loft overlooking the main level below. It has a Queen Bed, half bathroom, and a writing desk at a window.
Full laundry in basement
Full house generator for emergencies
Outside there is a grill, and steps down to the riverbank.
The Garage is also available for parking

Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.
A damage waiver fee is required by Property Manager for each stay. For this property, the fee is $69 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $600. If the amount of damage exceeds this, or if the damage is found to have occurred with malicious intent, Property Manager retains the right to seek damages beyond that amount.
High chair and pack n play available upon request for an additional charge.
There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.
If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.
Dogs are allowed with an additional fee, with a maximum of 2 dogs. Please be advised that it is absolutely imperative for all renters to keep their dogs on a leash at all times. While we truly appreciate and value pets, ensuring that our furry friends are leashed or properly secured is of utmost importance to us. Please take your pup with you or kennel them when you leave the home. We cannot have lonely barking dogs left at our property. Please be considerate and clean up after your pet.
