Rode Barns is a multi-building compound with sweeping views of the Hudson river and Catskills. Set on 13 lush, green acres, the original buildings date back to the 1840s. Meticulously renovated, and featuring a world class art and design collection, a giant gunite pool, sauna, and myriad places to relax, cook, eat, entertain. The main house comfortably sleeps 12, plus another 4 guests in the detached guest house to accommodate up to16 guests!

The Neighborhood
Stuyvesant is where Henry Hudson landed in 1609. There are dairy farms, Dutch mansions, and rolling hills in this tiny town on the Hudson. The town is a 2.5 hour car ride from downtown Manhattan door to door. We are 20 minutes from the Hudson train stop, 8 minutes to Kinderhook, and 30 to downtown Albany and the Albany airport. The place is rural and adorable, but close enough to bigger places like Albany, Hudson, Chatham, and Kinderhook if you need restaurants, stores, etc.

Things To Know
Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.

- Check-out time is 11am unless otherwise stated in writing. The cleaner will be arriving shortly after to begin preparing for the next renters.
- PETS
- We are so happy to welcome your furry friend/s, (for a fee)! Please keep dogs on leash at all times. We kindly ask that they remain off furniture and beds. Please also be sure to clean up after your dog inside and out. This will ensure that there are no additional charges if extra cleaning is required due to pet hair.
