Bangor train station is roughly 20 minutes away from Caernarfon and has regular routes to Colwyn Bay and Wrexham in North Wales, as well as Cardiff and Newport in the South. You can also cross the border to Chester, Crewe and Shrewsbury. Hop on the 5/5A/5B bus route which travels to Bangor and Llandudno.
