Newly renovated in 2021, the charming, detached and two-storey, Home Farmhouse is flooded with history, light and space for all to enjoy
Dating back to 1900, Home Farmhouse has seen many different lives over the last century. From heifers to hounds, this property really has been a home to all. Today, the Farmhouse offers a modern, spacious and warm retreat for visitors to the Lake District. Look closely however and you will still find signs of its history.
Due to reopen for Easter 2021, Home Farmhouse has been renovated to create more space for everyone to enjoy. All three bedrooms inside the main building now enjoy their own private en-suite, as does the annexe (accessed via the courtyard), whilst the ground floor boasts an open plan kitchen-diner and living room. French doors from the dining room out to the paddock flood the ground floor with light. A roaring fire in the lounge is the perfect spot to warm up...

Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
