Speddy Cottage, Chapel Stile

The Home

Speddy is a recently renovated end cottage, next door to our “End Cottage”. Restored very much in a traditional style with stone flag floors on the ground floor and polished boards on the first. A modern kitchen has been added, along with two wood burning stoves, in the living room and dining room. Additional warmth is provided by electric wall heaters in each room. The bedrooms have been furnished with substantial French-style beds with new mattresses, with pretty soft furnishing throughout.

Located on the top road above Chapel Stile, which is really Walthwaite, the property has wonderful views across to Lingmoor Fell and the old quarry workings across the valley.
