Nestled in the exclusive coastal pocket just 300m from the sandy shores of Nutgrove Beach and only 500m the shops and seaside cafes at Long Beach, there’s plenty to see and do right at the doorstep or you can drive a breezy eight minutes and land yourself in the middle of Hobart’s CBD. Take a morning stroll down to the beach or catch brekkie at the Sea Grass Café on the Derwent (keep your eyes peeled for dolphins or the local seal) or the popular Beach House Café. There’s an IGA supermarket, butchers and news agency at Long Beach, or you can slip down for dinner or takeaway in the same group of shops at the Hearty Wok, Ming Court or Sandy Bay Wood-fired Pizza. Sandown Park is only 300m away and adjoining that is the Long Beach Reserve that plays host to the famous Hobart Twilight Markets every Friday night from October to March, where you can sample some of Tasmania’s finest produce, artisan crafts, food and beverages to the backbeat of live performers and musicians. Jump in the car and take the coast road a few minutes south to Taroona or Kingston Beach for a change of scene or traverse over to Kunanyi Mount Wellington, a must see for a taste of the Tasmanian wilderness and panoramic views over Hobart to the mighty Derwent River snaking its way all the way to the ocean. Hobart’s CBD is just up the road and incredibly easy to find a free parking space close to all the action. From there it’s a stroll to everything from Constitution Docks and the ferry to MONA, historical buildings, buzzing restaurants, wine bars and brasseries as well as the cosmopolitan cuisine and social scene at Salamanca Markets. With its stylish light filled spaces, river views, beach walks and eateries at the door plus Hobart’s CBD just minutes away, it’s getaway retreat that ticks all the boxes.

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.
