They say good things come in threes, but in this superlative home, we’d make that fours — namely; masterly architecture, sophisticated design, entrancing views (Eiffel Tower and all), and luxury-laden roof terrace. It would take some serious persuading for us to vacate that most sumptuous of spots (yes, that is a rooftop hot tub), but a supreme location on the fringes of Paris’s most exquisite landscape garden, Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, might just do it...
SECOND FLOOR
LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN
Chic interiors and a peppering of eclectic paintings make this open-plan living area feel like part suave artists’s studio, part sleek, modern home — complete with a large, metallic dining table and cosy sofa corner. Striking features and a slick, generously-sized kitchen accentuate the crisply contemporary aesthetic, whilst classic details like that crystal chandelier weave a thread of elegance throughout. We love the way architectural finesse is used to create a sense of floating space in this home, focusing your eye on that magnificent spiral staircase whilst light spill down from above, glinting off its silver rail.
FIRST FLOOR
PRINCIPAL BEDROOM
Minimalist, modern style contrasts brilliantly with the chandelier overhead. The comfy King-sized bed is bathed in light through a large window.
PRINCIPAL ENSUITE
Reflecting the bedroom’s aura of effortless cool, is the ensuite bathroom, which features a beautifully sculpted standalone bath and a wash basin.
WC
LAUNDRY ROOM
Featuring a combined washer-dryer.
GROUND FLOOR
GUEST BEDROOM
Jazzy wallpaper and an electric blue canvas make this first bedroom as eye-catching as it is comfy. There’s also a door on to a small but secretive courtyard, perfect for stealing a quiet moment or two in the sunshine.
BATHROOM
Awash with marble-style tiles, this bathroom features a walk-in shower and a wash basin.
WC
We love...
The balcony — beyond all doubt the crowning jewel here. Offering iconic skyline views of the city that can be admired from the comfort of a cushy outdoor sofa, during an al fresco meal at the dining table, or, best of all, whilst enjoying that ultimate slice of indulgence — a dip in the jacuzzi.
**To rent this property, the minimum age requirement is 25 years old.**
Home truths:
No smoking, pets, or parties! This home is set over two floors with step access and a private roof terrace above. A Jacuzzi on a sunny roof with views of the Eiffel Tower is on everyone’s bucket list and this one is available all summer, from June to September. There’s also an electric BBQ for those post-dip al fresco dinners. Please be aware, there are cameras within the security system for this home. Pictures are only taken if the alarm goes off.. A dog and cat usually live here. The spiral staircases, though impressive, make it unsuitable for children. Air-conditioning is available in the living room and bedrooms.
Please note, Property Manager homes are lived-in homes, which we think adds to their charm! Guests should, however, expect to find homeowner belongings and personal items within the property.
