Modern apartment (95 sqm) in the pedestrian area in the historic center of Maccagno. Consisting of a modern kitchen with island, living room on the upper floor, double bedroom and bathroom with shower. The house has been recently renovated and is equipped with every comfort: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, American coffee machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, flat screen TV in every room with satellite and digital terrestrial channels.
The apartment is suitable for two people. There is a large space for bicycle storage. The structure has complete coverage with stable internet signal up to 50 mpbs. Public car park nearby a few steps from the structure. The house is very close to the main services of Maccagno: supermarket, post office, pharmacy, bus stop, train station with trains to Milan and the main Lombardy exhibition centers and tourist port, from where boats leave for all the main towns on Lake Maggiore (Cannero, Cannobio, Locarno, Ascona, Arona, Stresa, Borromean Islands). The main markets to visit are the one in Luino on Wednesdays and the one in Cannobio on Sundays. The attention to detail, the passion in the construction and the quality finishes are the strong points of the apartment. The entire structure is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
Use GMaps. It is preferable to park in via Cesare Zanotti and immediately follow on foot take the cross street via Goffredo Mameli, turn immediately right after the small parking lot and you will find yourself at the entrance to the historic center in via Domenico Della Bella, continue straight and after about 50 meters, you will find on the left the house with green shutters and the "casa del Borgo" license plate. In the surrounding area there are several public spaces for free parking. Once you arrive at the house, you will have access to the common area on the ground floor and the spacious cellar on the rock dedicated to the separate collection of the apartment. You can also store your bikes in the common area on the ground floor inside the house.
Guests will be welcomed personally for the delivery of keys (also self check-in possible). Spoken languages: Italian (native language), English (fluent), and German (basic). A welcome kit is provided free of charge upon arrival.
Various sports can be practiced on site, including trekking, cycling, mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing, sailing, and windsurfing. An equipped beach and the possibility of hiking in the mountains are the strong points of Maccagno. Upon request, there is also the possibility of organizing, booking, and reserving one or more of the aforementioned activities.
The house is very close to the main services of Maccagno: supermarket, post office (ATM), pharmacy, bus stop, train station, from where trains depart for Milan and the main Lombardy trade fair centers, and the tourist port, from where boats depart for all the main locations on Lake Maggiore (Cannero, Cannobio, Locarno, Ascona, Arona, Stresa, Borromean Islands, etc.). The main markets to visit are the one in Luino on Wednesdays and the one on Sundays in Cannobio.
For your safety, the house is equipped with a video intercom with a second camera that records the second entrance.
A car is not necessary to move around Maccagno and in the periods from April to the end of September with the boat (just 200 meters away) you can move comfortably to other coastal locations, also 400 meters away is the Tilo S30 train station with connections to Malpensa airport, Milan, or to other locations including Switzerland with the international railway line, or the electric car-sharing "e-vai" of the Lombardy region with over 100 regional points is available 300 meters away at the municipality of Maccagno.
